Just a reminder – if you sign up for Bluemix before December 10, you can get a free Amazon $10 gift card! (and still be entered in the Lumia 822 raffle!) See details here!
The most exciting part of Bluemix for me are the Watson services that you can use – especially because they’re in beta right now and you can use them all for free! So let’s take a closer look at Relationship Extraction.
The Relationship Extraction service lets you extract useful units of information from text, such as people, places, dates, durations, animals, vehicles, etc.
Here’s a live demo of the Relationship Extraction service, and here’s where you can get started with a sample app.
This service is a little trickier, but it can be useful for apps that are parsing natural language sentences, such as from news articles or tweets.
